Fuuun Shourinken  Jaleco1987 asia-east china martialarts score unarmedfighting Except for a very few C64 titles like [game=#36503]International Karate[/game], I really don't like 8-bit 1vs1 fighting games very much. Fuuun Shourinken is one of those mediocre not really well playable fighting games. Hit detection is strange, graphics are average and if you are unlucky you are dead in about 5 seconds. Well in 1987 there weren't much similar titles, so genre fans might have had some fun with it. labelimageminimize
Fuuun Shourinken: Ankoku no Maou  Jaleco1988 asia-east birds china martialarts unarmedfighting Gameplay-wise "Fuuun Shourinken: Ankoku no Maou" isn't much of an improvement compared to its predecessor, which appeared a year before. Beating a handful enemies in 1vs1 combat... and thats it. They embedded the fighting gameplay into a little story, represented by a pictures and text after each fight. You have a limited choice after each scene, mostly to go "right" or "left" leading to different opponents, but it seemingly has no effect on the overall story at all. While this is a nice extra, it doesn't make the game more playable. labelimageminimize
